Our team of people at the heart of our business are all experienced in the financial services industry and have a wide range of backgrounds and expertise.
Head of Implementation
“A keen snowboarder, he is saving money to return to his favourite resort of Morzine/Avoriaz for another season”…. would have been Adam’s bio when he first started working in the SIPP industry in 2000. However that temporary position soon became permanent and he has been working within the SIPP industry ever since. He never did make it back for that season but a soulmate, a mortgage, three beautiful children, a house renovation and a one eyed dog later mean he wouldn’t change a thing! Adam joined Gaudi in 2009 and has been involved in all aspects of the companies growth, and now oversees the launch of white labelled products for product partners (the snowboard is still in the loft collecting dust in the faint hope he may, one day, get back out on the slopes!)
Ange joined Gaudi in 2019 bringing a wealth of experience with her. When she is not leading the operations team to excellence you will find her with a hammer and paint brush renovating properties. Being the feeder of the team you will always find cakes and biscuits near by….
Head of Operations
Having joined Gaudi in 2012, Chris has risen from Portfolio Manager to Head of Operations. With two young children at home there is never a dull moment, however he always finds time for a quick run or trip to the pub.
Clifton is a fluent Spanish speaker and seasoned Non-executive Director, having held Board positions at Saga, Just and Standard Life. He is currently Chair of Unum UK. In his executive career he held senior management positions with Axa, KPMG, GE Capital and Credit Suisse, where he was the Chief Executive of Winterthur Life UK from 2001 to 2003.
Dan has over 10 years’ experience in life and pensions. Outside of work he enjoys MMA, walking his English Springer and a weekly 5-a-side kick about. Much of Dan’s worth ethic and efficiency is inspired by the genius of Marcelo ‘El Loco’ Bielsa.
Gaynor joined the team at Gaudi back in 2011 as a member of a then small, but experienced administration team. Initially specialising in client drawdown and more recently moving into the Change & Implementations Team, assisting in the onboarding of new Gaudi business partners.
She is Mum to a 14-year-old gamer, along with a ‘Friends’ (TV series) obsessed 11-year-old, wife to an addicted runner and keeper of 3 very demanding cats (Miffy, Bob & Luna). Life is a busy one, with little free time for film, travelling (where possible!) cycling and reading, her guilty pleasures.
Jason is one of the freshest faces at Gaudi having joined in late 2020. A weekend mechanic that keeps an old clunker on the road. The call to be the next F1 World Champion never came.
Product Governance Manager
Jena joined Gaudi in 2020, following a varied career ranging from teaching English in the Czech Republic to managing an award-winning bookshop and having previously worked in pensions for several years. She is an active member of her local branch of CAMRA (the Campaign for Real Ale), helping with beer festivals and visiting pubs and breweries. Jena also enjoys all sorts of live theatre and performance, but has no ambition to tread the boards herself.
Portfolio and Compliance Manager
I joined Gaudi in 2009. I am a Northerner who is proud to say she doesn’t support Manchester United. I love to travel, bitten by the travel bug having lived abroad for a number of years.
Kim initially joined the team in 2017 and is in the process of broadening her knowledge of the financial services through independent work-related study. An avid and very eclectic bookworm, Kim is particularly proud of purchasing and improving her first flat and balances the demands of running her own home, with the sometimes equally challenging needs of her pet bunny, Buzz
Laura joined the team in December 2019 coming from a career in the Insurance, Recruitment and Financial Services industries. She grew up in Berkshire before moving to Germany and finally settling in the Salisbury area. Laura loves food, cooking it, eating it and of course talking about it! Her happy place is sat soaking up the sun with a cold glass of wine, whether it be at home or exploring a new destination around the world. Laura loves a challenge, in particular looking after a new kitten Lynn Peterson!
Patrick was part of the team that established Gaudi in 2009 and has guided the broadening of our services ever since. A retired and very average rugby player, he is particularly proud of persuading his southern based children to support Tranmere Rovers and balances the demands of running a business with the equally challenging demands of a wife, two children and a Cockerpoo and Jack Russell
Head of Technical and Compliance
Robert has spent his entire career involved in the world of pensions and insists that pensions are actually interesting! He says this is because pensions are so important for everyone and are constantly evolving, meaning new things to learn and opportunities for positive change. Can’t argue with that. Not one to blow his own trumpet but is all up for blowing his tuba, his main outside of work passion is helping run, and playing in, his thriving local brass band, Verwood Concert Brass.
I am an avid Harry Potter fan who watches the films at least once a month and I am continuously reading the books. I have a Maine Coon cat called Mango, I love a long country walk, especially if there is a pub on route! My weekends are full of barbeques in the summer and game nights in the winter. I have a can do attitude and try to make the most out of every situation in life.
